
Ying Chen is an Assistant Professor of Finance at ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ. She holds a Ph.D. in Personal Financial Planning, a Master's in Accounting (MSA), and a Master's in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) professional. She is passionate about teaching, research, and community services. She teaches financial planning, retirement planning, estate planning, and financial modeling & analytics. She served as a VITA volunteer, assisting individuals/families in filing tax returns. Her research interest focuses on households' financial behavior, fintech adoption in financial planning, emotions, personality traits, mental health, and the psychology of financial planning.
