Join ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ in honoring Dr. King's legacy of service, justice, and community transformation. Our annual symposium brings together students, faculty, staff, and community partners for a day of meaningful dialogue and hands-on action.
Morning Symposium and Breakfast: Alumni Hall, Student Center
Afternoon Day of Service: Transform inspiration into action through service projects with nonprofit partners in New Britain. We put Dr. King's vision into practice while strengthening the connections between Central and the neighborhoods we serve by volunteering at:
Off campus: Assist in the Friendship Service Center's community kitchen or pantry
On campus: Assemble care kits for unhoused community members in partnership with the New Britain Library
On campus: Literacy kits in partnership with the United Way
On campus: Bring and donate an item on the day of the event for Maria's Place
