TASTING NOTES
The nose seduces with a beautiful range of aromas of dried fruit, sweet cranberries and freshly baked cherry pie with soft toasty oak. Sweet tannins give backbone to this medium-bodied wine.
BACKGROUND
Chile’s wine growing areas are mainly influenced by the Pacific Ocean to the west and, the spectacular mountain range of the Andes. These geological factors cool the air. The Andes protects Chile frost in the springtime and the soil is fed from the water which runs off the Mountains. This is a critical factor for this dry landscape. The Maipó region, just south of Santiago, is one of Chile's most famous wine regions. Chile has recently attracted many foreign collaborators and investors.
