TASTING NOTES

Elegant, dark fruit nose, presenting an evocative a seductive character. The palate, however, is firm and stylish, medium bodied with ripe flavours, but with a fine texture. This has a lovely, nicely poised style, with a backbone of grippy tannins.

BACKGROUND

The Courrian Family have been based in Blaignan since 1634. They have owned the Property Tour Haut-Caussan , with its mill since 1877. The mill was restored in 1981 . Today Véronique Courrian is responsable for the commercial side of the business and Fabien Courrian is in charge of the vineyard & wine production. This is a cru Bourgeois Superior property.
