TASTING NOTES
A blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Bombino. Straw yellow colour with golden shadow. The nose is fresh and intense with a great fruity flavour. A very fresh, elegant and well balanced wine. Excellent in combination with fish dishes, poultry and fresh cheeses.
BACKGROUND
Villa Schinosa’s vineyards are located just outside the picturesque Pugliese port of Trani. Seven years ago the vineyards were totally replanted so that Villa Schinosa would start to bottle their own wine instead of selling in bulk. The ancient cellar built in 1884, bored into the Stone of Trani, has been renovated introducing production facilities and places the farm in the forefront of wine-making industry.
