TASTING NOTES
The wine has an intense ruby red colour with an aroma of plums and red berries. The wine is aged up to one year in oak barriques which gives the soft tannins and spicy flavours. It combines well with red meats and aged cheeses.

Cantina Sampietrana is a Cantina Sociale with just over 60 members and has been making fine Salento wines since 1952. They remain honest to their traditions as well as adapting to new techniques. The cellar is located in the historic village of San Pietro Vernotica which lies between Brindisi & Lecce.
