TASTING NOTES
An attractive intense cherry red with garnet red hues. Delightful bouquet of red fruits and spices over a background of oaky touches from the cask ageing.
This wine is full flavoured and displays a complex range of flavours. It has good
body and is very well balanced. This wine is a particularly harmonious combination of the aromas that come from the fermentation process with those that are derived from the ageing process in the cask. It is a joy to savour on tasting, and will improve more over time. The wine was aged for 18 months in the cask and 8 months in the bottle.
BACKGROUND
Bodegas Loli Casado is a family-run winery, in its third generation, located in Lapuebla de Labarca, its vineyards are located between the villages of Laguardia and Lapuebla de Labarca, The first vines were planted 75 years ago, and at first the wines were produced in bulk. Iin 1982 the Bodegas began bottling their wines. The winery has its own 25 hectares of vineyards, Producing approximately 150.000 bottles each year.
