TASTING NOTES
A delicate wine under a yellow dress with light green reflections, charming in the mouth expressing the fruity and floral Chardonnay. Fresh in its youth, the Mâcon Villages softens over the years.
BACKGROUND
Jean-Yves Larochette cultivates 11 hectares of vines in the field of Pérelles, a family owned property of long standing. Its location in the Beaujolais and Mâcon (Burgundy south) and the diversity of soils used to make wine and raise different wine appellations of origin. Indeed, on a maximum six municipalities located 5 kilometers from the place of business, the field of Pérelles produced no fewer than six different names. Carried out with rigorous care in the cellar, the wine remains true to the traditions and methods of top Burgundian Viniculture, while adapting to new technologies.
FOOD MATCHING
Wine known for its lighter side, but developing floral and fruity aromas, it is the perfect companion for delicate dishes made from freshwater fish, sausages, chicken with cream and ham with parsley. It can also be drunk as an aperitif.
