Aroma’s of cooked fruits including nectarines, peaches and plums well blended with hints of licorice, leather, earth, black olives and dried herbs.
BACKGROUND
Vina von Siebenthal’s three main vineyards are located in the historical winegrowing area of Panquehue, in the Aconcagua Valley, a semi-arid stretch of land cradled between the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. The wines are cultivated using organic farming principles and the yield is drastically reduced in order to intensify the aroma of the grapes.
The vinification is carried out with meticulous care. They process one small batch at a time, selecting only the best must. After a long period of cold maceration, the slow and gentle process of fermentation begins. Once the wine has rested in the barrels, it is bottled at the bodega and sealed with the best Portuguese corks.
