BACKGROUND

  
Abruzzo is a historically poor region, situated to the east of Rome. They make simple, uncomplicated wines, however are very pleasing to drink. 85% of the grapes grown in this region is Montepulciano however a lot of the wines contain small amounts of Sangiovese.
