TASTING NOTES
A very well balanced wine with fat apricot fruit and a creamy texture. It is typically Meursault with a backbone of refreshing minerality.
BACKGROUND
Some of Meursault’s greatest treasures come from this tiny domaine. The wines need some time to develop, and François treats them with the greatest of patience: they have long fermentations, and are given a total of almost two years in barrel. Very little new oak is used, and there is no fining or filtration, allowing the wines to retain the maximum flavour and Meursault character. It’s a very hands-off approach, and it works very well indeed.
