TASTING NOTES
A firm, powerful, full bodied red wine with an elegant eucalyptus aroma and the ripe flavours of black and red fruits.
BACKGROUND
Nurtured from the rich Murray River bank soil, the vineyard was established over a quarter of a century ago. From a first year grape intake of 3,000 tonne Andrew Peace Wines now crushes over 20,000 tonnes per year.
While long established, the winery is utterly contemporary driven with sound business acumen and utilizing first class technology. With this combination it's no surprise that the winery is consistently among the top 20 performing Australian exporters and boasts a litany of awards to its name. Victorian Vineyard of the year 1997, Telstra Small Business of the Year 1999 and Emerging Exporter Award 2001 are just a few of its accolades. Meanwhile, the ever expanding product range consistently medals.
Despite the scale of the business today, the winery remains very much a family affair. In fact, the Peace family believes its success lies within its family ties.
