TASTING NOTES

 

A Fine English award winning Cassis made by Jo Hilditch on her Herefordshire farm. Not as sweet nor as cloying as traditional Cassis. Each bottle contains 95% pure blackcurrent.

 


BACKGROUND


Jo Hilditch took over the family farm 15 years ago and set about diversifying an already enterprising farm business. The family have been carefully growing blackcurrants on the south facing slopes of their Herefordshire farm for three generations. Most of the crop has traditionally been sold to Ribena, but now with some of the excess crop Jo decided to take on the French at their own game!
