TASTING NOTES
This is a seriously velvity-rich and chocolatey blend of 60% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc and 10% Malbec, this is a classic bordeaux bend (and stylistically similar to Pomerol in the words of Hans Herzog).
BACKGROUND
The magical complexion of the soil and microclimate inspired European vignerons Hans & Therese Herzog to establish their estate winery in spellbinding Marlborough. Here the grapes find their true expression in the wines. And such purity of flavour requires simply the very best fruit; Hans lives and breathes the vineyard, paring down the crop until there is very little left, but what is left has the goodness, warmth, light and indeed magic each vine draws from the terroir.
