A very concentrated Grand Cru made with restricted yields, very full and will age for 5-10 years.

 

 

BACKGROUND

 

A great domaine of 10 hectares of premier and grand crus in and around Gevrey Chambertin. The domaine entirely owns the 6 hectare premier cru "Clos des Varoilles" which produces exquisite burgundies capable of great ageing.The grapes are hand-picked and yields are limited to a paltry 35 hectolitres per hectare. The wine spends 12-24 months in casks depending on the vintage. Quality standards here are the highest they have ever been.
