full, rounded wine it has flavours of lightly smoked wood. It develops a very characteristic opulence and has a long smooth finish. It accompanies foie gras, pates, poultry& rabbit.
BACKGROUND
Domaine Bleger is located in the village of Orschwiller, at the centre of the Alsace region. There is four hundred years of history & tradition of wine making under the Bleger family name. Traditional methods employed here produce wines rich in fruit and roundness, expressing character of the terroir. Claude & Christophe Bleger work 8.5 hectares of vines divided into about thirty pieces on the four communes which border the castle of High Koenigsbourg.
