Colour: Bright, intense cherry red. Aromas of Red fruits stand out (blackberries, redcurrants), with toasted and chocolate hints. Well rounded, structured, and meaty, the fruity characteristics of its bouquet are confirmed.This attractive, intensely coloured wine offers a wide range of spicy, toasted, and liquorice aromas in the glass. As the wine opens up, the stewed black fruits come to the forefront, until reaching a surprisingly good balance. Its long finish makes this a wine to be savoured slowly. Ageing 36 months in oak casks, and 18 months in the bottle.
BACKGROUND
Bodegas Loli Casado is a family-run winery, in its third generation, located in Lapuebla de Labarca, its vineyards are located between the villages of Laguardia and Lapuebla de Labarca, The first vines were planted 75 years ago, and at first the wines were produced in bulk, and in 1982 the Bodegas began bottling their wines.The winery has its own 25 hectares of vineyards,Producing approximately 150.000 bottles each year.
