TASTING NOTES
Deep cherry red with ruby red tinges. Aromas of Intense ripe black fruit, with spicy (cloves), balsamic, and vanilla hints. Fresh, complex, and long lasting, with well marked varietal characteristics.The fermentative aromas are very well combined with the aromas of the ageing process. Ripe black grape aromas persist in harmony with the noble tannin of the new oak. This wine has developed very nicely with its time spent in the bottle.
Ageing 18 months in oak casks, and 6 months in the bottle.
BACKGROUND
Bodegas Loli Casado is a family-run winery, in its third generation, located in Lapuebla de Labarca, its vineyards are located between the villages of Laguardia and Lapuebla de Labarca, The first vines were planted 75 years ago, and at first the wines were produced in bulk, and in 1982 the Bodegas began bottling their wines.The winery has its own 25 hectares of vineyards,Producing approximately 150.000 bottles each year.
