TASTING NOTES
A blend of 70% Albarino, 20% Loureiro, 10% Treixadura, 5% Caino Blanco and Godello. A brilliant, pale and greenish yellow colour. The wine offers an excellent bouquet, with notes of apple, citrus, fresh herbs. On the palate it is intense and well-rounded with an elegant structure and a balanced acidity. It is flavourful with a long finish. This wine is the ideal accompaniment to fish, shellfish rice dishes andcold appetizers. It is also perfect as an aperitif.
BACKGROUND
The fjord-like inlets that lend their name to the Denomination of Origin Rias Baixas are the most southerly ones in Galicia fed by the Atlantic Oceana. The wines of this region are authentic references of quality worldwide. The region, named O’Rosal, is the southernmost of the five sub-zones that comprise our D.O. and enjoys more hours of sun and less rainfall than the others. It boasts a unique microclimate thanks to the influence of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mino River, which forms a natural border with neighboring Portugal.
