Our Charges
Delivery is charged at £5.99 for orders under £100 to a single address. For orders of £100 or more delivery is free of charge to a single address. A surcharge for all orders will be applied where the delivery address is in the Scottish Highlands and Islands. Orders containing multiple delivery addresses must be made using multiple order entries.
Delivery Methods
For large, valuable and fragile items, delivery is made using our preferred courier service provider. Orders are carefully tracked and will requre a signiture upon delivery. Where there is no one present to take delivery, a card will be left and you should contact the delivery company to arrange collection or rearrange delivery at a suitable time. The courier may levey a charge for multiple delivery attempts and you will be responsible for this charge.
Fragile items are hand-sorted to minimise breakages. Small items may be sent by post.
Damaged and Faulty Goods
Upon receipt of the goods you should check the items immedeatly for damage BEFORE signing the delivery note. By signing the delivery note you are confirming that you have inspected the goods and agreeing that the goods are free from obvious damage. If the goods are damaged in any way, return the item to the delivery driver and do not sign the delivery note. The goods will then be returned to us for inspection.
Where the goods are faulty and under gaurantee, you should return the goods to us with a covering letter and copy of your purchase order. If the manufacturere agrees that the goods are faulty, we will repair or replace the goods and reimburse reasonable costs of return. Where the manufacturere rejects the faulty goods claim, we are unable to refund the cost of return and you will be responisble for this cost.
We advise calling the shop to discuss the problem prior to returning the goods to us.
Delivery of Dometic Products
Dometic products include a standard door-step delivery service. This service delivers Dometic products to the front door of your buidling. You are responsible for moving the item to your required final destination, unpacking the item, and performing the final assembly of the product. If you are unable to perform this function, or require the delivery up or down a flight of stairs, you should add the Dometic Premium Delivery service to your shopping basket at the time of order.
Dometic's Premium Delivery Service
Dometic's Premium Delivery service will carry your new wine cellar to your chosen room in your residence. Dometic's trained technicians will unpack your wine cellar, carry out the final assembly tasks, and remove all waste packaging.
This service is required where a two-man team are needed to carry the wine cellar up a flight of steps and to take inside your home.
