New National Identity Cards Now Accepted at Essentially Wine

7th March 2010: 

Following the introduction of the Government Identity Card Scheme, Essentially Wine is delighted to announce the acceptance of these new cards as proof of age at its retail outlets.

 

Staff members at Essentially Wine have undergone training in identifying the appropriate cards and how to use them in preventing under-aged sales of age-restricted goods.

   

“These new cards are a useful tool in helping our staff tackle the problem of attempts to purchase wine, and other age-restricted goods, by juveniles” says Stephen Forward, Managing Director of Essentially Wine.
